Built in 1867 by General James B. Weaver, the striking two-story, brick home was Iowa's 12th national landmark, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.  With a stately presence the north entrance to Bloomfield is graced by it's presence.  Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, The Weaver House is a place of inspiration, delight, and personalized service.

Come spend a night with us and go back to a genteel, gracious time when garden strolls and elegant appointments made for the most wonderful of visits.  Step into a past when time was spent savoring the surrounding beauty and sharing special quiet times to be forever cherished.  Our guest rooms offer a wonderful blend of those days gone by and all the amenities of the twenty-first century, including high speed wireless internet.

The Weaver House offers access to outstanding outdoor activities, events and local attractions year-round, including: hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, boating,  golf, and more. Our beautiful Inn offers close proximity to all of these activities and much more.
