Bloomfield is located in beautiful Southeastern Iowa near the Missouri-Iowa border.  There are many things to see and do in Bloomfield and the surrounding area.  Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast or enjoy shopping and taking in the sites, Bloomfield has something for everyone.

Bloomfield's main attraction is our historic town square and unique courthouse.  Both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offer visitors a glimpse of our rich history.

Be sure to stop at the Iowa Welcome Center. The Center offers a variety of hand-made items from local craftsmen.  You'll also find a variety of brochures and maps to help plan your visit.
